There’s a website so it’s official. We’re swapping vows and the Irish weather to get married in Sitges, Spain. Please join us on September 29th 2026 for a day of sunshine, good food, plentiful drinks and even more craic. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
We’ll be holding our wedding day on September 29th and would love guests to also join us for the cure in the form of a BBQ and pool party the next day—September 30th.
We hope most of you know who we are, but we wanted to share the magical story of how we met. Many of you would be familiar with the happenings of the 11th night in July. Typically bonfires adorn Belfast, but on July 11th 2020, there were fireworks too. We met where love often blossoms, in the back of Paul Rafferty’s car on the way to a day trip to Malin Head. And fresh out of COVID lockdown into being locked down, before we knew it, we were living together in North Belfast with our two beautiful (cat) children, Frank and Beanie.
2020 to 2026, with plenty of laughs and memories in between; we can’t wait to make more with you all this September.

Barcelona Airport is 25 minutes to Sitges. Or Reus Airport near Salou is a 50 minute drive to Sitges. Both have direct flights from Belfast International and Dublin. We’d recommend booking flights ASAP! We also recommend renting a car. Car rental options in the area are affordable and definitely worthwhile for getting about. If not, a bus goes from Barcelona Airport to Sitges and takes around 45 minutes.
Sitges is a lovely little coastal town outside Barcelona. It has plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Its beaches are great for relaxing, and the surrounding area has beautiful villages, vineyards, and coastline if you want to explore further afield.

drive from Sitges at
Avinguda d'Olesa de Bonesvalls.
We’d recommend staying in Sitges, which has plenty of affordable hotel options. Alternatively, there are lots of options in the surrounding areas, particularly for villas/Airbnb accommodation for larger groups.
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than June 20th.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Smart, slick, slay. We appreciate it might be warmer than what we’re used to, but would love for our guests to dress to impress!
What weather should I anticipate for September in Sitges?
We’ve been told by our wedding vendors that this is the perfect time to get married—not too warm and not too cool. Likely highs of 27˚C and lows of 18˚C into the evening.
What is the wedding day itinerary?

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

What is the easiest way to get to/from your venues?

Will your wedding ceremony be held inside or outside?
Our ceremony will be held outside in the upper decking area of the villa.
Will there be an after party?
Does the bear shit in the woods #OpenBar.
Are there plans the day before and the day after the wedding?
We have no plans to get together the day before the wedding; we hope people will use the day to settle in and get ready for the big day ahead. The next day, we’ll be hosting a pool party after-party and BBQ at the villa. More details to come.
